2017 Symposium


The Immersive Storytelling Symposium was an extensive, day-long event held at The New School on February 5th, 2017.

The symposium encompassed panels, discussions and demonstrations on the explosion of affordable virtual and augmented reality technologies. The event took a critical look at the impact of new mass media technologies such as the Gear VR/Oculus Rift, Google Daydream/Cardboard, HTC Vive, MS Hololens and their “immersive” effects on theater, games, news, and entertainment.
