The Immersive Storytelling Symposium was an extensive, day-long event held at The New School on February 5th, 2017 presented by:

The symposium encompassed panels, discussions and demonstrations on the explosion of affordable virtual and augmented reality technologies. The event took a critical look at the impact of new mass media technologies such as the Gear VR/Oculus Rift, Google Daydream/Cardboard, HTC Vive, MS Hololens and their “immersive” effects on theater, games, news, and entertainment.
